A 416 capacity venue, divided into two rooms of 316 and 100, is currently available for hire both mid-week and weekends.

A weekly free festival to celebrate the creative diversity and progressive spirit of Brighton and Hove’s communities.
The Synergy Centre operates very much on a ‘Do-It-Yourself’ ethos, so we welcome participation and involvement from the community to help develop the Centre and insure it meets community needs. We have a number of teams emerging :
The Young People’s Team – organising The Synergy Youth Project events run by young people for young people, meets every Monday at 5pm.
The Well-Being Team who will run regular events promoting Holistic (Physical, Mental and Social) Health, meets occasional Tuesdays, 6pm
The Maintenance Team, helping with the upkeep and renovation of the Centre, meets every Monday 10am and every Friday 4pm.

We have a number of different projects developing at the Centre with plenty of scope for participation.
The Synergy Youth Project – a series of events run by young people for young people, delivered in partnership with a number of local youth and youth arts agencies. In the medium term, we aim to designate one of the three venues in the Synergy Centre as a youth-run venue, ploughing all proceeds back in to projects with support the professional and personal development of young people aged 13-25.
Well Being Events – a regular Sunday afternoon / evening event bringing the main partners and practitioners working within the wider Health and Well-Being sector in Brighton, Hove and the surrounding area.
The Synergy Community Art Gallery – a project to develop an accessible and welcome, community based art gallery to display art works using a wide variety of media produced by emerging professionals and community based organisations.
The Roughsleepers Advocacy Project – seeking to give local rough sleepers a strong voice to articulate their needs and interests and make services more responsive and accountable.
The Happiness Group – seeking to deliver a variety of services, targeted in particular to the 60+ age group, with a view to promoting happiness and wellbeing as well as working to offset the onset of conditions such as dementia which can be a result of a lack of mental activity and engagement.
Community Loops – a free and accessible electronic sound installation project seeking to collaborate with its audience by inviting everyone and anyone to contribute to a continuous piece of music.
Synergy Sundays – a regular afternoon / evening indoor festival held in the historic music hall at the Synergy Centre on Middle Street, central Brighton, aiming to create space in which the creative and progressive community in Brighton and Hove can gather, socialize, network, exchange views and perspectives, develop partnerships / collaborations and generally build the capacity of the community.

Profits from ‘The Project’ were invested into converting a disused warehouse in Camberwell, South London, in to a youth and community arts centre – the first ‘Synergy Centre’.
