Latest Synergy Centre News

The Synergy Centre is approaching the end of its lease at the West Street premises and the team will shortly be moving out so that the new owners can begin the process of demolition and re-development. One of Brighton’s most spacious, historic and charismatic venues will shortly be demolished to make way for a budget hotel. A full report of our time in Brighton and the lessons we have learned, and what our experiences say about how Brighton’s creative and night-time economy are managed (or mismanaged?), will be written after we leave and circulated via social media.

The Centre is therefore not available for hire after the end of September 2017.

Meanwhile, our sister charity, Indigenous People, will be hiring out rooms at their new Hove base, more information about which can be found here.

We are currently looking at medium-term angles on opening a Synergy Centre in Bristol as well as an Accra Synergy Centre in Ghana and a rural Synergy Eco-Village in the Kwahu region of central Ghana.
