entry: £3 before 10pm, £5 after

We will be opening immediately after the end of the march in central london, offering somewhere warm and comfortable to relax after a hard days marching and campaigning, to reflect on the day's activities, socialise, unwind and maybe have a dance.

We will have a reasonably priced cafe with hot vegetarian food, and an organic bar.

The musical entertainment in the main room will be provided by


Seize the Day (radical folk)

Saddam and the look-a-likes (novelty rock)

National Snack (punk motown)

Death Ray Trebuchet (brass pop)

Intertwined (trip-hop)

Solar Bud (trance)

plus DJs Dreadnaut, Springfield, Ben Crystal, Leon, and Indigenous

plus fairies, facepainters, jugglers, hoola-hoopers, and bellydancers, to make this an unmissable indoor festival extravaganza!

conscious cinema will be provided by 'Maginifcent Revolution', the country's largest bike-powered cinema (10 bikes!), showing footage of the other demos that will be taking place all over the world on the day, plus short films and animations. We need more racing bikes! If you'd like to participate with your bike, please let us know in advance.

Downstairs will feature photos from last year's global demos and projections by Opticfibre

and upstairs will be featuring the exhibition 'Shell's Wild Lie' by Art Not Oil - the counter-exhibition to Shell's sponsorship of the Wildlife Photographer of the Year competition, plus photos from the 2007 Climate Camp

entrance only £3 - all door profits will be split between the Campaign Against Climate Change and the Save the Big Green Gathering fund

transport options from the american embassy to the afterparty are:
by tube from Bond Street to Oval and then 10minute walk
by bus 436 from London Hilton Hotel (Park Lane) to the Co-op on Camberwell New Road, then 2 minute walk
total journey time approx. 45 minutes or 30minutes by bike!
